Filed under: Spy Photos , Coupe , Performance , Ferrari , Design/Style While it’s still absolutely beautiful and a performance marvel ( especially in Speciale trim ), the Ferrari 458 Italia has to keep up with the rapidly evolving world in supercars if it wants to continue its success. Since we first saw it, rumor has emerged that it updated 458, reportedly called 458 M, may follow the lead of the recently revised California by using its turbocharged 3.9-liter V8 engine.

Meet the man whose house is designed around his car

Filed under: Coupe , Performance , Videos , Ferrari , Design/Style It’s been a couple of years since we last heard about Holger Schubert and his award-winning office/garage , but it looks like the city of Los Angeles, thankfully, did not force him to tear down the bridge that gives his Ferrari 512 BBi arguably the nicest parking spot in California. Petrolicious is back again with another well-done video, which finally introduces us to Schubert as well as his lust-worthy Ferrari. As for the structure, it is half garage and half work space with an office, couch, bookshelf and television, and one hell of a view

Amazing LaFerrari tribute watch more intricate than the real thing [w/video]

Filed under: Coupe , Hybrid , Performance , Etc. , Videos , Ferrari , Design/Style , Luxury The Enzo had no companion watch, but its successor, the Ferrari LaFerrari , does. Created by Hublot “entirely in parallel with the car” and “alongside the Ferrari teams,” the MP-05 LaFerrari tribute watch is a similar test of how much gobsmacking gadgetry can be packed into a chassis.

These are two Ferrari design studies that led to the LaFerrari

Filed under: Concept Cars , Coupe , Performance , Videos , Ferrari , Design/Style , Luxury Ferrari apparently worked through nine design concepts for its LaFerrari supercar recently shown at the Geneva Motor Show , and has put two of them on display at its museum in Maranello, Italy. Both from 2011, the Manta (pictured) is harder edged and looks closest to the finished product. The other, the Tensostruttura, is much more fluid and looks like it probably came from the past or the future, not so much the present.

Ferrari F150 Enzo successor is Geneva bound [UPDATE]

Filed under: Coupe , Performance , Geneva Motor Show , Ferrari , Design/Style , Luxury Ferrari has announced the automaker will debut the company’s “most powerful HyperFerrari [sic]” at this year’s Geneva Motor Show . The news came courtesy of Instagram, where the Italian automaker posted a familiar-looking rendering with a quick note. Details are still remarkably scarce, though Ferrari says the successor to the Enzo throne will be able to “turn into a corner” as quick as a Formula One car thanks in part to the fact that the road-going machine will feature as much downforce as an F1 competitor.
